Upcoming Subaru’s Productions – 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek, WRX , WRX STI
Subaru has seemed to make plans concerning their Impreza line. After the company has decided to drop off the Impreza name, they’re planning to produce another ride which is based on the Impreza built in different name. With code name 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek, the company is quite optimistic that the new model will catch everyone’s attention. The plan to sell the new model within next year has been announced by Subaru during the Los Angeles Motor Show 2011. The compact crossover ride will definitely on sales next year.
Meanwhile, the company is also planning on the WRX STI and WRX models that are planned to release around 2013. The cars will be built on unique and particular platform, with light weight technology that can be beneficial for both the ride and the drivers. The vehicles will still be using turbo engine but with lighter and smaller engine of 2.0 liter capacity. It means that the ride’s curb weight will be reduced as well.
However, with the reduction of weight, it doesn’t mean that the power will be reduced too. On the contrary, Subaru will use the special four cylinder engine boxer designed by the company. With this special engine and also turbo attachment, the ride will be able to produce around 305 hp.
