Test Drive : Toyota Avanza Veloz 2012
Avanza is considered as one of the most popular rides in Indonesia. That’s why lots of auto enthusiasts and lovers have been waiting for the upcoming release of the new variant of the ride; the Toyota Avanza Veloz 2012.
Based on the test drive done by dapurpacu.com, the ride is still running on VVTi engine with 1.5 liter capacity that delivers about 104 hp. The power is actually smaller than the previous model, intended to reduce emission system and to make the car has better fuel safe system. With such economical feature, the power remains the same and uncompromised. From the outer look, there’re several distinctive difference from the previous E and G model, especially around the velg, lower side body kit, and wider air vent.
The new Toyota Avanza Veloz AT 2012 is set up around 183 million IDR, with tougher and sportier look. The overall performance is nice enough. It’s noiseless and quiet. The interior cabin is quite spacious and comfy. The dashboard is somehow more exclusive, with more attractive curve. The suspension is better, with stable feature that allows the car to ‘stay on the ground’ during high speed trip. It’s not so bouncy anymore, which is certainly great for safety concern.
