Unveiled in the 2011 Geneva auto show, the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 gets admiration from the crowds.
The Aventador has been built with a sophisticated and innovative suspension concept, intended for replacing Lamborghini’s long-treatment V12 model – the Murcielago.
Powered by a 6.5-liter 12-cylinder engine that delivers 700 hp, the Aventador can accelerate from zero to 62 mph only in 2.9 seconds, with 217 mph of top speed.
If compared to its predecessor, the Aventador’s emissions of CO2 and fuel consumption are down by about 20 %.
Shifting time of the Aventador’s ISR transmission is just 50 milliseconds, which can be considered as the fastest in its level.
Set for being a high-performance road-going car, the Aventador also takes inspiration from the Formula 1. The fitments of the damper system and push-rod spring clearly indicates this fact.
The Aventador’s interior is designed in a magnificent Italian style, and equipped with high technology features such as the TFT cockpit display.
The standard Aventador has price at about £ 201,900 (tax is excluded). And for the custom-built, it will definitely have higher price.
The delivery of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 to its customers will begin in this year’s late summer.
