The new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4Unveiled in the 2011 Geneva auto show, the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 gets admiration from the crowds.

The Aventador has been built with a sophisticated and innovative suspension concept, intended for replacing Lamborghini’s long-treatment V12 model – the Murcielago.

Powered by a 6.5-liter 12-cylinder engine that delivers 700 hp, the Aventador can accelerate from zero to 62 mph only in 2.9 seconds, with 217 mph of top speed.

If compared to its predecessor, the Aventador’s emissions of CO2 and fuel consumption are down by about 20 %.

Shifting time of the Aventador’s ISR transmission is just 50 milliseconds, which can be considered as the fastest in its level.

Set for being a high-performance road-going car, the Aventador also takes inspiration from the Formula 1. The fitments of the damper system and push-rod spring clearly indicates this fact.

The Aventador’s interior is designed in a magnificent Italian style, and equipped with high technology features such as the TFT cockpit display.

The standard Aventador has price at about £ 201,900 (tax is excluded). And for the custom-built, it will definitely have higher price.

The delivery of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 to its customers will begin in this year’s late summer.

Porsche Panamera with hybrid system

Porsche will soon make the Panamera S Hybrid available for its customers.

The Porsche Panamera S Hybrid is four-door. It is powered by the same combination of engine as already utilized on the Cayenne S Hybrid and proved magnificent.

Porsche promises that the Panamera S Hybrid will be fuel-efficient, yet maintaining sporty dynamics.

The Panamera is generated by an output of 380 horsepower, and impressive CO2 emissions of 159 g/km.

The car can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in about 6.0 seconds, with the top speed reaches 168 mph.

In purely electric mode, the Panamera’s range is about 1.25 miles. Depending on the traffic or road conditions; when driven in the electric mode, the top speed of the car can reach as high as 53 mph.

The engine will be automatically switched off by the “sailing” if power from the combustion engine is being unneeded. At 103 mph of speed, the “sailing” will also disengage the drivetrain.

In June 2011, the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid will have been already available in the UK market. The prices begin at £86,146.

2012 Porsche Cayman R – the lightest in the Cayman range

2012 Porsche Cayman R2012 Porsche Cayman R is one of the cars that is exhibited at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. Cayman R is the third version in the Cayman range. The car is lighter than the previous models: Cayman and Cayman S. Cayman R’s weight is only 55 kg, but it provides 330 hp flat-six engine which is more powerful than Cayman S.

Cayman R is equipped with six-speed manual transmission which enable it to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in only 5.0 seconds. Seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission is also available as an option – it can reduce the exercise to 4.7 seconds. With the manual transmission, the top speed will be up by 3 to 175 mph, but with the PDK it can reach 174 mph.

The main idea of Cayman R concept is to improve the two-seater by making some weight reduction. Major reduction is obtained from the use of lightweight components and removing few devices such as AC and stereo. 2012 Cayman R also has a smaller 54-liter fuel tank.

2012 Porsche Cayman R will be available in the UK market on February 2011, its price starts from £51,731.
