The new 2013 Audi A8 Hybrid model, which is about to be launched, isn’t the same as the model design previously introduce in March 2010. Why this ride is considered unique and special, anyway? Well, for a start, this car will have the combination of TFSI gasoline engine four cylinder machine with 2.0 liter capacity and electric motor. The gasoline machine is able to produce 54 hp. When combined with the electric motor, the end result is about 245 hp.

The 2013 Audi A8 Hybrid seems to be made with great details and great precision, considering several alternatives and concerns about the machine performance. The company has decided to use magnetic permanent synchronous motor system which is placed near the torque converter. With this style and this placement, the machine come in CVT model with sporty and fuel efficiency technology, which is quite often applied in hybrid rides. The car also uses front wheel driving system, instead of rear wheel system, which is often used in big luxurious sedan.

This ride is able to reach 62 mph only on the electric machine, which is quite impressive. Users can have three different options of driving: the EV for electric focus, the D for combination of gasoline and electric, and the S for sport driving system. The new Jaguar C-X16 a concept will be released and launched soon, with the initial introduction during the Frankfurt Motor Show around September the 12th 2011. The concept of this car is the most anticipated new design that has been waited by lots of people and fans. It seems that the company has decided to come again with sport car design with this new ride.

Ian Callum, the chief designer of this future car says that the concept for the car will be Jaguar C-X16 a two seater model and he’s very excited about this project. This project is one of the most exciting projects he’s been dealing with since he joined the Jaguar team. After all, with such powerful brand name, everyone always expect the best from such ride.

The ride is considered as futuristic sport car that will set up new style, class, dynamic, performance, and also technology. But since the concept is still a concept – officials say that they won’t be making any running vehicle soon – there’s no production model available soon. The officials from the company say that Veyron should be careful about this car – when it will be made soon.  Jaguar C-X16 Concept Price  is set around the $84,000.

The Upcoming 2012 Hyundai i30 (Elantra Touring)

With the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, lots of new concept and ideas have been launched and introduced with the hope to make the next show more “spicy” and various. One of the latest concepts of new car just introduced recently is the 2012 Hyundai i30.

Well, the 2012 Hyundai i30 (Elantra Touring) is actually not a new concept, since it only has different names from the original Elantra model. When it comes to American market, the Elantra becomes Elantra touring.  Although there are no official statements or confirmations from the company, it seems that the so called new model will still have the same look of the previous Elantra model. However, the company seems to add more change or improvements for the car, with the considerations that the ride will be launched for American markets. There will be more addition on the body style with wagon or hatchback model. There’s no certain news about the success of this ride, considering that sedan model has been many and may have come in more attractive designs than this one.

Well, it seems that we just have to wait and see for the design of this Touring model. Hopefully, the company has time to provide better technologies and features to make this ride more attractive.

The New Concept of Audi A5 DTM

Before the Frankfurt Motor Show event, Audi has released several information about the new Audi A5 DTM concept. With code name R17, the A5 will be the replacement for the previous A4 DTM which is available with four door concept in 2004. Just FYI, the A4 has earned DTM title about 4 times since it was released.

I guess the company is hoping that the Audi A5 DTM will be greater and more superior than the previous product. Although there is not much information about the new car, but based on the Audi A5 DTM concept, it seems that the car will be running on V8 engine and will be made of carbon fiber monocoque. The carbon fiber design will be accompanied with roll steel cage that goes in accordance with the most current safety rules and regulations. The engine is adopting the technology from the A4, which is able to produce power of 340kx and 456ps.

The company doesn’t say much more about the car, but they mainly state that the production of the car will be similar to their new A5 Coupe 2012 product, which is about to go on sale this year – by the end of the year.
