    The new Hyundai i40 to exhibit in Geneva

    The new Hyundai i40 for European marketThe all-new i40 is Hyundai’s first D-segment car specifically developed for the market of Europe.

    The i40 will be exhibited at the 2011 Geneva auto show in its estate form. The sedan version of the i40 is also available, but the revelation will be later on this year.

    Few innovative features include heated steering wheel, heated rear and front seats, and a system of active de-mist that identifies and removes mist on the windscreen automatically.

    A variety of powertrain choices are on offer, including a 1.7-liter diesel engine which has CO2 emissions as low as 113 g/km.

    At the 2011 Geneva auto show, the new i40 is not the only car to be exhibited by Hyundai, but there will also be the new Veloster. The new Hyundai Veloster is a 1+2 door coupe, and it is intended for the market of Europe. The launch of the coupe is said to be this year.

    This year will also be the time for Hyundai to debut its Curb concept in Europe. Previously, the Hyundai Curb concept has already been revealed to American public at the North America International auto show.

    The 2011 Geneva auto show itself will begin on the 1st of March.

    Chevrolet Orlando MPV is available in three trim levels

    Chevrolet Orlando MPV Chevrolet has just announced that Orlando MPV will start its price from £16,395. Currently, the car is available in three trim levels and three engines, including two diesel options.

    The standard model Orlando LS is equipped with average features such as air conditioning, ESC, electric windows and mirrors, and follow-me-home headlights. On board, there are six airbags, remote central locking, tinted windows, rear-view mirror, adjustable steering wheel, and three 12v power sockets. There is also a smart compartment behind the stereo facia that can be used to lay away phones, iPods, or MP3s.

    The Orlando LS is powered by 141PS 1.8-liter petrol engine, or a new 130PS 2.0-liter diesel unit as an option. The diesel unit comes with a six-speed manual gearbox. And the Orlando LT model is powered by 163PS 2.0-liter diesel that comes with six-speed manual transmission; the option will be a six-speed auto.

    The buyers of the top model Chevrolet Orlando LTZ can chose one of the three engine options. The top model is also equipped with automatic headlights, automatic cruise control, windscreen wipers, and 17-inch alloys.
