Range Rover Evoque – The Five-Door Version is Revealed

After debuting the coupe version of Evoque, now Land Rover has revealed its five-door version, or named 2012 Range Rover Evoque 5-Door. The car is scheduled to be exhibited at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2010 which will begin on 17 November as a premium crossover Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).

Before this, Evoque had already been announced to public as the best Range Rover ever. The Evoque is  lighter, smaller, and more fuel-economical than its predecessor as promoted by famous singer Victoria Beckham.

The 5-Door still inherits the concept of the Land Rover LRX, just like the coupe version. The 5-Door is equipped with lightweight construction techniques which enable it to deliver optimum efficiency. The choice of a front-wheel drive variant is also offered by the 5-Door.

Inside, the 5-Door is more spacious. It is 30mm taller than the coupe version, and the rear passengers is provided with 50mm more shoulder room. However, the length and width of the compact footprint of the 5-Door still remain the same with the coupe version – there is no any enlargement. The 5-Door’s cabin is rather extravagant. The seats, doors, and instrument panel are soft and beautifully tailored.

The 5-Door Range Rover Evoque will be produced at Land Rover’s Halewood plant in Merseyside, UK. The car will be available in the market worldwide on summer 2011. The price may starts at £30,000.
