Q7; 2012 Audi Premium SUV
When it was introduced some months ago, public and reviewers expected that the 2012 Audi Q7 will bring large interior space and spacious trunk. Unfortunately, it does not come true because the reality said that this new German SUV offers short interior space and small trunk inside its large body. However, we have to say that this SUV brings awesome power and features. Generally, the outline and concept brought by the German car maker in the 2012 Audi Q7 shows how high-end SUV should appear.
To help customers choose, the 2012 Audi Q7 comes in three different rim levels, which are Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. Standard features would be brought by the base trim, the Premium. Audi equipped it with 18” alloy wheels, rear parking sensor, roof rails, auto wipers, power liftgate and dual-zone climate control automatic. To complete its luxurious appearance, the interior section is given leather upholstery. From the Premium Plus, buyers will get those standard features and panoramic sunroof, xenon headlights, rearview camera, LED running lights, navigation system, front parking sensor, power folding and auto dimming mirrors, DVD and HD radio from Bose. Some high class features can be found on the Prestige model such as 20” wheels, keyless entry, keyless ignition, blind-spot warning system, cornering lamps and ventilated front seats. There are some package options can be chosen; each of the packages brings different features based on buyer’s need.
The 2012 Audi Q7 Premium and Premium plus are equipped with 3.0 liter V6 turbocharged engine. It produces 280 hp and 295 lbs.-ft. of torque. There is also another type of engine installed under the hood, which is 3.0 liter turbodiesel engine paired with AWD and 8-speed automatic transmission; but this engine is only available if buyer choose the 2012 Audi Q7 TDI package. An eight-speed automatic transmission is the standard feature that is given to all trim levels.
