Lexus has already confirmed that sportier, tweaked versions of its brand new flagship LS saloon are actually on the way, adding that the new Lexus LS F Sport is about to make its debut later this week at the upcoming New York Motor Show.
The designation is going be available on both LS 500 as well as hybrid LS 500h vehicles. The car maker pledges that it’s going to be the company’s most engaging LS driving solution. The line-up will actively exploit the vehicles’ new GA-L platform in addition to a bunch of catchy tweaks expected to make the Mercedes S-Class counterpart sharper and also more agile in terms of driving.
Just like other ‘F Sport’ vehicles in the Lexus range, the two LS F Sports won’t come with extra power. So, the LS 500 F Sport will still make use of a 409bhp twin-turbocharged 3.5 V6, while the LS 500 h F Sport will be a 349bhp V6 hybrid. In return, the vehicles will boast tweaked suspension along with chassis control technology, not to mention sporty styling tweaks.
The Lexus LS F Sport cars feature a sportier and more aggressive look compared to regular versions with more muscular bodywork and fresh alloy wheels. They also come with the cutting-edge Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management chassis control system, coordinating the ABS, stability and traction, to say nothing of the power steering as well as advanced four-wheel active steering system.
