Kia Brings Track’ster Concept to Chicago Auto Show
We know that Chicago Auto Show is one of the biggest auto events in America. The exhibition will be held next March and usually, there will be many names of automakers join and bring their new cars, including concept cars. Chicago Auto Show usually used by Asian carmakers to show their capability in producing cars to American customers. They also use it to improve demand and sales in the US.
One of the Asian carmakers that will join Chicago Auto Show is KIA. The Korean automaker will bring its new concept there namely Track’ster. This concept is touted as “ultimate performance” Soul. This concept features a hatchback body that is more aggressive than Soul with a low and sharp bodykit.
Track’ster is made by Kia’s California design team and it adopts Soul hatchback but with sportier outlook. Unfortunately, Kia is still quiet about the details of the concept. They said that they will unveil the details at the Chicago Auto Show next week. However, some media captured that his concept will come with just two doors and it is not like Soul that provides four doors.
Kia even does not want to mention about the engine under the Track’ster hood but some auto analysts predicted that the same four-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged engine like belongs to Veloster Turbo will be a good choice. We have to tell you that this engine is able to produce 201 horsepower and it is bigger than the current 164 horsepower belong to Soul. If the attention of the public to the Track’ster is good, big chance, they will bring it for production.
We can see that Kia is trying to boost their sales in America using this concept. However, they must see its progress until Chicago Auto Show is unwrapped.
