#1 THIS dude is big. #2 Excellent Review! What this guy said is DEAD ON! He said “you can do something different and stand out from the crowd” which is EXACTLY why i would get this car! I’ve looked @ Cam, Acc, and even Sonata, Tsx, Is. im lookin for fuel economy but a car thats not to big. Tsx gets 31 mph on hgwy but thats prem fuel. Is is RWD. I live n NE, Dont need one! Camry and Acc are LIMITED in their color schemes that i would prefer. If that Big S is a prob just Debadge it. N.P.

I just found out Suzuki is offering an increadible lease deal on the Kizashi S, and Kizashi SE. You can get the S version for around $219 a month for 48 months, but you gotta get it before March 1st, that is when the deal ends. That’s an increadible deal for someone that wants to get into a Kizashi but can’t afford the payments on a $20,000 car loan! All the info is available at the Suzuki website.

nicest suzuki car…theyre coming along…their bikes and quads are decent…and those little samurais have a cult following…this kizashi is a nice looking little car…proably fun to drive…im too cheap to ever buy a new car…if i spend 25k on a car…it better be from the late 60s with a big block in it…

    Overpriced!

Stolen exterior bits (VW is all over the front)

other than the ridiculous price and the stolen front end, not bad I guess)

“The Kizashi is easily the most athletic car in its class, and even a few rungs up. How do we know? We tested the Kizashi on Virginia International Raceway against competitors like the Mazda6, Nissan Altima, and Subaru Legacy, and even some cars a few classes up like the Volkswagen Passat CC, Acura TSX and Audi A4. Suzuki engineers worked closely with KYB to desing a suspension unique to the Kizashi, and they simply nailed it”. — Leftlane News –

Not all Mazda’s are Ford’s. The Mazda 2, 3, Miata (MX-5) and some others are made in Japan by Mazda. The 6, and some others are Ford’s in disguise. You have to check each to see. BTW I do like this Kizashi.. it looks good.

    @Bulgdoom

if AWD is useless at that low of a power level, then how come you can get the Toyota Vitz [Yaris] and Honda Jazz [Fit] in Hapan with AWD in the 1.0L 80hp vehicle? I own a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.5i [non-turbo Automatic, only makes roughly 176hp] and I power out of the snow just as good as any other AWD car in my class.

and about CVT’s being horrible, it depends on thge car and application. I work at Toyota and the Prius CVT is decent, but the Nissan Murano is performance tuned.

  8. PUREAAMERICAN says:

Add the 3.6L High Feature engine(Suzuki has under license for the XL7 from GM) and add direct injection get this up to 310+ HP and price it at 25K and they will own the segment.

  9. Ebbsilen says:

@clz777 For sure! Honda looks weird, Toyota broke, Mazda are deguised Ford models…Suzuki have his chance for the first time!

Even if it’s a great car i’m not sure to like the styling but anyway…way better than many recent cars!

  10. AndreSm95 says:

That Suzuki reminds me of Volkswagen Jetta.

  11. clz777 says:

    It’s Suzuki time!

  12. abinlukasabraham says:

that is a great car and i hope suzuki will bring it to the UK

  13. BlackChargerSRT says:

I have to disagree with you. While I’ve only got a chance to sample Nissan’s CVT, I like it very much. I can see many advantages this type of transmission could have over conventional automatics. I have also read many positive reviews all over on them; they are a different breed, and not to everyone’s taste however. I agree with your turbo idea, but I think AWD is plenty useful, even at lower engine power levels. My old Suzuki Aerio had AWD with only 155hp and worked quite well for me.

Suzuki announced that its new 2010 Suzuki Kizashi, the companys first entry into the all-wheel-drive sedan segment, earned THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE RATING by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) crash tests. The 2010 Kizashi was awarded a 5-star rating in both the frontal and side-impact crash tests for ALL seating positions.

  15. Bulgdoom says:

    @jeepsales07
CVTs are horrible… I have not heard 1 good review about them. This car needs a small turbo engine instead of useless AWD for a car that makes 180hp…

  16. kingfarticus says:

Why wasn’t Suzuki at the Detroit auto show????

  17. hb4fun22 says:

Although I agree that the car is well balanced with the 4-cyl, there are alot of people that prefer a V6 no matter what. I already know several people are going to wait for the current V6 test mule to hit production. As for the $17,000+, I was refering to a YEAR END CLOSE OUT, not what the car goes for right now. Those types and amounts are common for Suzuki year end sales. So Jan/Feb of 2011 an S version with all rebates and a little nego is entirely realistic.

  18. twowheelterror says:

Why yes, I refer to the rear of my car as the ass as well, don’t you?! Haha.

  19. jeepsales07 says:

this car doesn’t need a V6. the CVT tranny lets the motor pump 180 horse power with the autostick as well. this car is set up just right as it right now. being a new suzuki dealer, we just got our first one in..it is AWESOME!! there is only 500 in rebates plus 100 on mark up. a new S model would cost you around, so no you could not buy one for $17,000 ;)

  20. dragonr00 says:

    that’s what i heard lol

  21. shuyin200 says:

It’s nice to see all the little guys like Suzuki and KIA stepping up their game with all these nice new cars.

  22. JetBlueIce says:

    BOTTOM LINE:
The name is strange, but the ride/handling balance is dead-on. The attractive Kizashi picks up the ball dropped by the Acura TSX and Subaru Legacy. –Edmunds Inside Line Review–

  23. hb4fun22 says:

The inline 6 you are thinking about was in the Suzuki Verona. That wasn’t a Suzuki that was a Daewoo, it was just badged as a Suzuki so GM could sell it at Suzuki dealers. The V6 going into the Kizashi will be Suzuki built with an output of approximately 260hp to 280hp.

  24. CarbonX21 says:

Did he say it had a “high ass?” lmao
