Honda CR-Z receives “Green Car of the Year” award from Top Gear magazine. Top Gear’s jury had tested some cars on the crowded streets in China. They noted that between the other cars, CR-Z is the one that can get them very excited. The car is Compact, responsive, and accessible, it also delivers a breezy feeling when driven in the noisy or uproar places.
By getting the Top Gear award, it means that CR-Z has collected few titles in this year. Before this, CR-Z has already been honored as the more recent Japan Car of the Year 2010-2011.
CR-Z is also awarded “Eco Gadget of the Year” by Stuff magazine. And at the first RAC Brighton to London Future Car Challenge, CR-Z had won the “Most Economic & Environment Friendly Sports HEV”.
CR-Z is a sporty hybrid, powered by a 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine. The car is equipped with six-speed manual gearbox and Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist system. Honda CR-Z starts its price from £16,999 OTR.
