First pictures of the next-gen 2018 Dacia Duster drop a hint at a minor makeover for the car maker’s budget SUV. It has been its first series of spy pictures. The all-new vehicle is supposed to substitute the newly-facelifted Duster.
The very first spy images show that in terms of design Renault’s budget sub-brand is still making vigorous attempts to keep things under wraps, although the overall form of the approaching second-gen Duster follows closely that of the current version, so it’s expected to cling to an evolutionary look rather than a radically new design language. Secondly, under the heavy masking one can notice a grille resembling the one on the current model, though fresh, sharper headlight clusters hide beneath the disguise.
Entry-level variants will keep being equipped with wheel arches, plastic bumpers as well as steel wheels, while plusher models will derive benefits from added tech and style.
It’s too early to discuss changes under the skin of the 2018 Dacia Duster, but the car maker will most likely do its best to maximally suppress costs.
