In New York, Mercedes has revealed its forthcoming updated S-Class, ahead of the vehicle’s expected public debut at the approaching Shanghai Motor Show, next week.
The German car maker’s flagship broke in the launch of the GLC 63 as well a GLC 63 Coupe models. Though the chrome-wrapped car concealed some of its details, some sources disclosed more about its mild facelift. In addition to revised headlights, a fresh front bumper along with the current V12 version’s front grille adds more charm. The rear end comes with new tail-lights as well as a different design of bumper, incorporating the tailpipes. That’s also true to the diesel versions of the vehicle.
The cabin of the Mercedes S-Class 2017 offers a mild makeover, including new materials and greater scope for personalization. Besides this, there’s an updated infotainment system, bringing the S-Class up to the same level as its smaller bro, the recently unveiled E-Class. As for the dashboard, it currently features a glass-enclosed ‘seamless display’ which is a pair of 12.3-inch widescreens positioned beside each other.
