Have you ever imagines to see a flying car on the street? Well, in futuristic setting and in the FUTURE, you may expect to see such thing really exists. But in present time? A flying car, really? But such design and car truly exists now. The Terrafugia Transition flying car is already shown and introduced in the New York Motor Show.

It’s not just a silly designing where there’s possibility of such car really available in the market. It’s basically a ride that is designed as an airplane for street usage – legally – that can be used on certain occasion. It’s like a car/plane design where you can press certain button and the wings will fold out. The Terrafugia Transition flying car is running on certified engine that is mounted for the rear wheel design with top speed reaching 80 mph. It has 35 mpg system for the land, can you can use the device to cruise around for as long as 450 miles with 120 mph. but you’ll need about 1700 feet for the runway, anyway. We recognize SR Auto Group as a tuning firm that never discriminate the model of cars they want to execute. Whether it is a supercar like the Ferrari 458 Italia or something lower like a BMW Z4, the American tuning house has successfully built a reputation as one of the best tuners no matter the kind of product they use.

One of their latest projects is tuning a powerful supercar, Ferrari 458 Italia. However, there is another car they work on, which is Scion iQ. However, do not ever underestimate the capability of the US-based tuning house because through the small car, they are able to show brilliant idea.

The Scion iQ project called as the Project Pryzm in reference to the iQ’s boxy and sharp interior, the car was fitted with a comprehensive package of aerodynamic that radically changed the way we look at the little, compact hatch.

The first task done by SR Auto Group’s engineers is adjusting the height. Then the next task followed is enhancing the exterior look by giving it a set of 17 inches Sparco wheels. After those tasks done, the tuning firm moves to the exterior section. To improve the outlook, SR Auto Group gives it Premier 4509 body kit to fit into the compact hatchback. The body kit includes a new front and rear bumper, front fenders, side skirts, a roof spoiler and a new hood.

After the exterior finished, the next is the interior. The tuning firm overhauling the cabin – it makes the interior looks sportier and gets a more aggressive look, especially if compared with the standard model. SR Auto Group also gives it a stitched pattern with red diamond over black suede in the center seats. The standard covers are replaced by black leather finished with red stitching on the seams.

The news about SRT Viper will be available for the 2013 production is still shocking enough and now the company has decided to show the ride during the press conference. The SRT Viper GTS 2013 is designed in order to compete against other rides during the ALMS event 2012.

The SRT Viper GTS 2013 is the result of two big companies of Riley Technology and SRT Motorsport. Two models of GTS Viper have been prepared and the candidates for the drivers include Ryan Hunter-Reay, Kuno Wittmer, Marc Goossens, and Dominik Farnbacher.

Viper line is always considered as a very reliable and powerful ride. the first original Viper – the GTS-R 1996 – has won about five big international events, from the 1997 to 1999 GT FIA championships. This ride has been designed, made, and produced because Viper and racing activities can’t be separated. With the model of powerful street car, the next production of 2013 Viper model will be a significant proof about how much a powerful ride can mean a lot on racing industry.

This new SRT Viper GTS 2013 has been set up to release around summer, with the warm welcome from anyone, including from the CEO and president of ALMS who mentioned the power Viper has.

Ram is producing the new 2013 model and it seems that the new ride will cause serious threat for other truck models from GM and Ford. The new 2013 Ram 1500 has been shown during the New York Motor Show. This ride is running on the Pentastar V6 engine with 3.6 liter capacity and automatic eight speed transmissions that is able to deliver 305 hp of power. This ride hasn’t received any EPA rating yet, but from the performance and the promising power, it seems that the car has 17 mpg for the city and 24 mpg for the highway.

The 2013 Ram 1500 leads the truck assault that is believed to even more powerful that the F-150 produced by Ford. Thanks to the automatic stop and start system, lower suspension for better handling, and also aerodynamic tweaking, this ride is certainly nice and comfortable to ride. Read the rest of this entry »
