Porsche Boxster S Black Edition – it’s black outside and inside

Porsche Boxster S Black Edition will be offered to the market in a limited number of only 987 units.

All of them definitely come in black color. And they are characterized with features that emphasize the muscular look and driving dynamics.

The rear luggage compartment lid which features the lettering of “Black Edition” is painted in black color. The exhaust system’s twin tailpipe, the rear side air intake grilles, and the rollover bars are also painted in black.

Surprisingly, the black theme is not only applied in the exterior, but also in the interior. The entry guards on the door which also feature the lettering of “Black Edition” have the color of black. The leather seats and the instrument cluster’s dials are even dominated with black.

The Black Edition is powered by 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine fitted in front of the rear axle behind the seats. For greater efficiency and power, the engine is paired with direct fuel injection. The combination is able to deliver 320 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque.

The Black Edition is also featured with lightweight ten-spoke design alloy wheels, making the car to save five kilogram overall.

Started from March, the Boxster S Black Edition will be available in the Ireland and UK market. The prices begin at £47,426.

The all-new Mercedes C-Class Coupe

The all-new Mercedes C-Class CoupeMercedes-Benz is going to unveil its new C-Class Coupe in March, at the Geneva auto show.

The new Mercedes C-Class Coupe’s design is still based on the platform of C-Class. However, the new coupe will be more intended for the young professional, with an average age of under 46.

A variant of diesel and petrol engines are on offer, all with the ECO start/stop function and direct injection.

The diesel variant includes C 250 CDI and C 220 CDI. Together with the basic C 180 petrol engine, they all will be equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.

The most powerful variant in fact is the V6 petrol-engined C 350, which can generate 306 horsepower and torque of 370 Nm.

Apparently, the C-Class Coupe’s silhouette is 41 mm lower than the sedan version. And in its simple and elegant three-box design, the new coupe has a narrow C-pillar and powerful shoulders.

In the UK market, an AMG Sports Package will be standard feature for the C-Class Coupe. The AMG package includes 18” AMG alloys and AMG body-styling.

The C-Class Coupe provides a 2+2 comfortable seat.

The new Mercedes C-Class Coupe will make its first appearance to public in March, at the Geneva auto show. While its first delivery to buyers will begin in June.

Porsche Panamera with hybrid system

Porsche will soon make the Panamera S Hybrid available for its customers.

The Porsche Panamera S Hybrid is four-door. It is powered by the same combination of engine as already utilized on the Cayenne S Hybrid and proved magnificent.

Porsche promises that the Panamera S Hybrid will be fuel-efficient, yet maintaining sporty dynamics.

The Panamera is generated by an output of 380 horsepower, and impressive CO2 emissions of 159 g/km.

The car can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in about 6.0 seconds, with the top speed reaches 168 mph.

In purely electric mode, the Panamera’s range is about 1.25 miles. Depending on the traffic or road conditions; when driven in the electric mode, the top speed of the car can reach as high as 53 mph.

Porsche Panamera with hybrid system The Panamera’s hybrid system is able to develop extra consumption reserves since it is equipped with “sailing” function.

The engine will be automatically switched off by the “sailing” if power from the combustion engine is being unneeded. At 103 mph of speed, the “sailing” will also disengage the drivetrain.

In June 2011, the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid will have been already available in the UK market. The prices begin at £86,146.
