Just because Cadillac has already released their ATS coupe and wagon to the market, does not mean that the automaker from US does not have plans to make a smaller sub model of the ATS. Some media on the internet captured Cadillac statements some days ago that the automaker might have plans to create a model under its ATS, which is also the contender of Germany’s BMW 3 Series.

All of us already know that the platform of the 2013 Cadillac ATS Alpha is scalable – 130R concept belongs to Chevrolet have proven it at the Detroit Auto Show 2012 some weeks ago. Other automaker, including Chevrolet has ability to bring a small car with rear-drive system, but it could not happen to Cadillac maybe. Unfortunately, the Cadillac ATS sedan is not as small as we expected from automaker like Cadillac and this statement has been told by many automotive analysts who have felt the performance of the new sedan.

While Cadillac may have plans already to create a smaller car that will be aimed for market segment under the existing ATS. Some media believed that what will be done by Cadillac to build a sub-ATS using Alpha chassis is just about a business case. If the plan runs well, and Cadillac builds the sub-ATS, then BMW 1 Series will have serious contender in the market, especially in the US.

However, we have to remember that in the past, Cadillac has not always had success with small vehicles, but from business standpoint, it seems to be a great idea to spread out the cost of the Alpha-platform car by devising it underpins as many different models as possible. But, what would the Cadillac sub-ATS look like? We just can wait until this plan comes true in the future.

Some days ago at the 2012 North America International Auto Show (NAIAS), Cadillac introduced its 2013 ATS. This car will take in the market of compact luxury sports sedan and try to challenge some world’s premium cars that have existed before. The 2013 Cadillac ATS, according to the announcement of Cadillac will be available in the market next summer.

2013 Cadillac ATS tries to combine some keys that are expected by premium sedan customers, which are technologically driven performance, design and elegance. The performance of the ATS, by some analysts and reviewers are compared with other cars from other manufacturers. They found that this premium luxury sedan would be one of the best products belongs to the American automaker. Vice president of marketing of Cadillac, Don Butler said that the ATS expands Cadillac’s portfolio into a crucial global segment and for new group of luxury car consumers, this ATS will be able to fit with their lifestyle and challenge the segment’s status quo.

The Cadillac ATS is a new way of the American automaker to express its philosophy on art and science. This car was built on mass efficiency and driving dynamic foundation. This is also the most lightweight Cadillac ever, less than 3.400 pounds of weight.

Under its hood, Cadillac puts two types of four-cylinder engine and one type of V6 to fulfill the expectation of the public. The V6 engine is only available in North America.

At the North American International Auto Show recently, the Cadillac ATS attracted attention from the public. Most of them were curious about how and when the car would color the road. They seemed to interest with it. Many analysts are optimistic with the future of the ATS; they believed that the car would able to give alternative to customers who love premium luxury sedan.

The news about 2012 Cadillac CTS recalled isn’t very much surprising since there have been several news about auto recalling before. It’s mainly done because of production failure or defect that can lead to potential harm or danger. And in this auto production, the problem is concerning the braking system.

The brake issue has made General Motors to set up recall plan for their new production. Not all 2012 Cadillac CTS models are being recalled. The one that is being the main issue is the production between the 21^st of October 2011 and 26^th of October 2011, which means that it was quite new car production. It’s doubtful that many of the units have been purchased or bought. The company counts that there’re about 674 units being affected.

This recalling plan is due because of manufacturing failure when the pushrod nuts for the power brake vacuum doesn’t seem to be placed or ‘torqued’ to the maximal proper installation. The nut can get loose over time, making the pushrod to disengage itself from the braking pedal, and the braking ability loss will be the end result. If that happens, crash or accidents may occur. The company will announce this news to owners through mail and customers who have that current model is suggested to contact the company to get further repair and replacement.

The new Cadillac XTS has been planned and prepared to be the next flagship product of the company. Its initial appearance has been planned to be introduced during LA Motor Show 2011. However, the Cadillac XTS revealed accidentally, so auto fans and enthusiasts probably won’t be too much surprised and awed by the upcoming introduction of the ride.

This accidentally revelation happens when the company lets an image of the car to ‘slip’ passing by their website so the whole image is revealed. This product, which is said to be the replacement vehicle for the STS and the DTS models, is said to be built with great technologies and facilities that will certainly satisfy the customers. The image can’t be found anymore within the website, but it doesn’t mean that several people have known about its existence and whole body construction. The car seems to be based on the XTS line which was first introduced during Detroit Motor Show 2011. If the rumor is true, it means that the car is guaranteed to deliver great performance as well as stylish designing.

There’s no further comment or official information from the company. However, since they say that such great technologies like the special entertainment CUE systems will be installed in the ride, everyone can expect for the best.
