Aston Martin is always known to be one of the world’s leading manufacturer of super, sporty, and muscled car. So when there is rumor that they are planning to design a city car that is usually small, compact, and cute, it is not surprising that people are a bit shocked. They probably think whether the rumor is true or just another sick joke of the century?
The big problem about these super auto manufacturers is that they often put such big and powerful engines into the tiny compartment of the mini ride. Take examples from Renault with their Clio. The company is still stuck with their V6 engine that should be put into the mini Clio. If the 2013 Monster Aston Martin V12 Cygnet rumored is true, then Aston Martin is probably going to have more problems because they are planning to include V12 engine into the tiny Cygnet. How are they going to do that?
It doesn’t mean that the idea of making Monster Aston Martin V12 Cygnet is such a bad idea. It’s just that putting powerful and big engine into such compact ride would be tricky because city car is supposed to come with small to medium engine. Is the plan going to be real or not? No one knows for sure….for now.
