2012 Audi RS1 : Spy Shot
Audi fans may be glad to hear the news that Audi may be planning to release new ride in the middle of next year. The company has decided that they will launch the new Audi RS1. Yes, a new RS1 is finally on production and is ready to shown off around.
Based on the 2012 Audi RS1 spy shot, the car will be available based on the Quattro concept that we’ve seen earlier this year. Since it’s based on the Quattro platform, the model is definitely looking aggressive and menacing yet also sporty and stylish. From the outer appearance alone, you can see the bulky side skirt, the big air intake in the front side, big exhaust pipe, and also rear wing model incorporated in the ride. It seems that the car will be running on turbocharged five cylinder engine of 2.5 liter capacity, just like the one used in RS3 and also in TT RS model. But the speed will be kept down around 340 hp. along with manual six speed transmissions, all wheel driving system, and weight save technology, the car is definitely a promising vehicle.
The Audi RS1 details will be explained further during the Geneva Auto Show 2012 in March, as the ride will debut in that event.
