A new Nurburgring record is set by 2017 NextEV NIO EP9 electric hypercar

China’s revolutionary new 2017 NextEV NIO EP9 electric hypercar has just demonstrated a fresh lap record of 6m 45.9s around the Green Hell.

The 2017 NextEV NIO EP9 has already proved that it boasts the ability to match its looks by simply setting a fresh production vehicle lap record on the Nurburgring racetrack in Germany. 6m 45.9s around the popular racetrack – that’s the vehicle’s amazing outcome.

It’s 6 seconds faster than the outcome demonstrated by Lamborghini Huracan Performante – it achieved 6m 52.01s earlier in 2017. Additionally, it also outperforms the NIO EP9’s previous outcome of 7m 05.12s et the previous year.

The NextEV NIO EP9 appears to be an eye-catching vehicle specially designed to create hype for the NIO brand that’s expected to launch its first mass market electric vehicle in China this year.

2.7 seconds to get to 62 mph – that’s a bit slower compared to what was demonstrated by the Tesla Model S P100D. However, its top speed is impressive enough – 194mph.
