A new supercar dubbed the 2019 Elextra EV, featuring cutting edge electric drivetrain technology is supposed to go on sale by 2019. It’s worth approximately 450,000 euros.
The Porsche Mission E as well as Nio EP9 counterpart is being developed in Switzerland by CEO of design house Classic Factory, Robert Palm. However, the project also involves several other car brands, already contributing in the respective areas of expertise.
Palm told reporters that funding for the ambitious project is currently entering its second phase, suggesting that work shift from the drawing board. In the coming weeks Classic Factory is planning to get down to development. They’re geared up to showcasing a prototype model already next spring.
The four-seater, four-door 2019 Classic Factory Elextra EV is already confirmed to utilize a dual electric motor all-wheel-drive powertrain, reportedly capable of producing a combined output of about 670bhp. Experts hope for a 0-62mph for 2.3secends.
