Citroen has already modified the design of its C3 Picasso, converting the vehicle from MPV to crossover. As a result, we see a fresh 2018 Citroen C3 Aircross. Specially created to take on the Nissan Juke, the funky-looking car from Citroen offers the promise of class-leading cabin space, underpinned by a modular interior layout.
The vehicle’s design, actually inspired by the C-Aircross concept showcased at the Geneva motor show earlier in 2017, is considerably sprightlier compared to the bulbous C3 Picasso it substitutes. Alexandre Malval, design director revealed that this shift in appearance is just part of the vehicle’s reinvention. As he states, the car maker is geared toward migrating folks across from the C3 Picasso to the new promising C3 Aircross, but they’re also concerned with attracting younger customers. The car maker is assured that the 2018 Citroen C3 Aircross is what customers really expect from a compact SUV.
Being just 75mm taller and 15mm longer than the Nissan Juke, it’s capable of swallowing much more luggage. With a choice of three petrol and three diesel powertrains, is also offers driver assist technology, made up of a reversing camera, blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning.
