The 2018 BMW X7 is going to be previewed with a concept, actually set to make its global debut at the approaching Frankfurt motor event in September. After this the car will go on sale in 2018.
BMW’s seven-seat Mercedes GLS as well as Range Rover counterpart will stay at the top of its model range together with the 7 Series. In Frankfurt an early vision for the production vehicle is going to be showcased along with the i3S, next X3 and 6 Series GT.
The 2018 BMW X7 has been noticed testing several times for the last few months, providing glimpses of the future SUV’s scale and design. It feels like it’s BMW’s largest SUV, where a traditional SUV body shape with a boxy passenger cabin gets along with a flat-faced front end.
If we lift the camouflage we’ll probably see the car maker’s familiar design features, including halo daytime running lights as well as kidney grilles.
The seven-seat vehicle is being developed with Chinese and American markets in mind. However, last year Ian Robertson, BMW head of sales and marketing confirmed the car maker’s intention to launch the vehicle for the UK market.
