Pictures of the 2017 Seat Arona SUV are already available on the web ahead of the vehicle’s debut next month.
The pictures, published by MQB-Coding & Retrofit, display the front, rear as well as side profile of the major Nissan Juke counterpart, with the styling heavily reflecting the car maker’s current Ateca SUV, especially at the front end.
As for the leaked images, they just follow a recent preview picture of the vehicle unveiled on Seat’s social media channels.
The picture hasn’t given much away, although it has disclosed the front fascia, lights window line, not to mention the overall shape of the vehicle when brightened.
The car maker has already confirmed that its new Ibiza-based compact crossover SUV, the 2017 Seat Arona, is expected to go on sale in December, 2017.
Specially created to take on the Nissan Juke along with the Renault Captur, Seat’s fresh SUV is about to share the same A0 platform with the forthcoming Ibiza, including the VW Group’s modular MQB architecture.
Most probably, the front-wheel-drive version will be offered to customers.
As for powerplants, they’ll be sourced from the Ibiza. Here we should mention the VW Group’s fresh 1.5-litre TSI Evo petrol motor, generating up to 148bhp. Other available engines included a 1.6-litre diesel and a three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol powerplant.
