2017 Peugeot 2008 Allure review

The new 2017 Peugeot 2008 Allure compact SUV counts the Renault Captur, the Mazda CX-3 as well as the Berry family as its counterparts.

That’s a typical Peugeot, and, accordingly, there’s always something catchy and intriguing about the design. Well, the upgrade gave a fresh face to the 2008. One can notice a more upright grille, boasting an intricate louvre-style effect that seems tough and elegant at the same time.

The side profile definitely attracts attention, in particular, the way the vehicle’s roofline steps up just like a mini Land Rover Discovery. It gives us a wild safari feel, while the glimmers of chrome trim greatly contribute to the top notch look of this compact SUV.

The handbrake actually resembles the throttle from a jetliner. It gives rather an amusing effect isn’t it?

The 2017 Peugeot 2008 Allure appears to be 186mm longer than the 208 hatch, which shares the same platform. Inside they have much common – both feature well-crafted and stylish cabins.

In addition to this, the vehicle obtained a fresh 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic transmission.
