2017 Citroen Berlingo spotted testing

Citroen’s van & people carrier Berlingo models have finally received a long-awaited overhaul. At least one of them has been spotted on the road – 2017 Citroen Berlingo.

The conventional look of the old Berlingo seems set to be substituted for a more outlined front end, which is in line with the rest of today’s Citroen range. A rounded-off style and split headlights are clear even on this heavily-camouflaged prototype.

Additionally, at the back the car maker has come up with a square back window as well as fresh taillights. Then, the windows on the side of it drop a hint that it’s the passenger vehicle Multispace version, although the commercial van will have a quite similar exterior look.

As for powertrains for both models, it will come from a range of four-cylinder diesel motors, probably with petrol joining the mix. Citroen’s fans actually expect exterior and interior dimensions to soar for this next-gen stuff.

The current 2017 Citroen Berlingo is considered to be a low-cost MPV in the range, starting at £16,245.
