Fresh LED taillights are seen at the back. The 2017 BMW 2 Series comes with three paint options. These are Mediterranean Blue, Sunset Orange and Seaside Blue.

At attentive customer might spot upgrades in the cabin taken directly from the 1 Series updates. Apparently, the same tweaks, including a black high-gloss finish on the center console stack, a fresh black instrument panel along with new air vents can be found here. Another extra stuff is the updated 8.8-inch iDrive, featuring an option of a touchscreen setup.

What remains fully intact is the engine line-up. So it offers a choice of 3, 4 and 6-cylinder petrol and also diesel powertrains, with the flagship M2 occupying the top of the range.
