There is some confirmation and news concerning the upcoming 2015 Acura TLX concept. The company has released the information during Detroit Motor Show. Because this TLX will be replacing the current TL and TSX, it is hoped to deliver the most satisfying result and performance.
The TSX is planned to end the production later on this year. And when it is replaced by TLX, Acura will still have the complete configuration of three sedan variant lineups, with the compact ILX at the bottom, TLX for the middle, and RLX for the top spot. So far, the 2015 Acura TLX concept prototype is shorter than the TL, but it still comes with the same wheelbase length, meaning that the interior cabin and space won’t be compromised at all.
For this 2015 Acura TLX concept, the ride will be coming with shorter rear and front overhangs, and also wider and lower stance, making the whole look more dynamic and stylish – when compared to TL. The ride will still be coming with LED Jewel Eye headlights – characteristics of Acura – along with the five spoke wheels with its 20 inches size and made of alloy. The car will be running on inline engine of 2.4 liter capacity with its DCT 8 speed, or the V6 3.5 liter engine with auto 9 speed transmissions – all with all wheel driving system.
