2013 Porsche 961 Specs, Price, Pictures

Everyone knows that Porsche is one of the best cars in the world. It’s no wonder that everyone will always expect the best when there’s new production coming around. Although there’s no official statement or confirmation about the new 2013 Porsche 961, news and rumors have been flying around. A website called AutoBild.de released a statement that the new model is being produced now. Although the 961 is considered an old production – first time produced in 1980s – it’s now being produced again. In the 1980s, the 961 was only experiencing three races of Camel Championship GT, the 24 Hours Lemans, and the Lemans again. It stopped because of technical problems.

2013 Porsche 961 is rumored to come in V8 engine that is based on the Porsche 918. Rumors also have it that the new car will have internal codename of 9×1. Not only the car will be available with new engine, but it will also be available with as hybrid car that uses electric motor to provide back up power to the car. The back up power is expected to be able to produce about 600 hp.

The new Porsche is predicted to come with a price around €200,000. Since the new car will be available in 2013, car lovers just need to wait and see.
