2013 Kia K9 (Opirus) Release Date

The new Kia is said to ready to launch soon. The new 2013 Kia K9 (Opirus) has been set up to be the manufacturer’s most current flagship ride. The unofficial rendering of this newest model will be set up for Korean market, before it’s finally launched for the American and also European target.

It seems that the company is preparing to introduce the Opirus (or Amanti), which is said to be bigger than the Cadenza model or the K7. The company even believes that the Opirus is just as good as the Lancia Thesis, and the ride is truly stunning; almost the same as Mercedes or BMW. This new vechile comes with slender body length and tougher, muscled look on the front side; almost similar to Maserati Quattroporte. It seem that the 2013 Kia K9 (Opirus) is the better development of the 2011 GT Kia concept shown during the Frankfurt Auto Show.

This vehicle will be running on V8 GDI engine of 5.0 liter capacity, producing around 429 hp along with automatic 8 speed transmissions. The concept was using V6 turbocharged with rear wheel driving system, but it seems that the company decided to use the V8 instead.

2013 Kia K9 (Opirus) Release Date

This car will be available in Korea around Spring 2012, while American and European market has to wait a year later.
